This past Thursday we played hooky from swimming lessons and went to the Railroad Museum to spend A Day Out with Thomas. It was fun! We got to take a ride on Thomas and then we spent time doing many other activities. The kids were so excited! Thomas was so cool! Thanks Grandma Dani for your help!
This year we again went to have breakfast on the farm. The food was great and there were many activities to partake in. Fortunately this year the event was very close to home! We had a fan-tab-u-lous time! Sawyer and Tate were both in tractor pulling contests. They are at a slight disadvantage because their weights put them each into weight classes with kids 2+ years older than them. They did great, though! *
In honor of Tatey's 3rd birthday party tomorrow (OK...only late by 2+ weeks this time!), I feature more pictures of the most animated child I know. Only Tatey can make me so mad I want to spit and then laugh so hard I nearly pee my pants, all in a matter of seconds. I love you T-Bone! You are the best!
This past weekend, 7 of 9 families who traveled to China and adopted daughters from Datong SWI met in Ottawa, Illinois for a reunion. It was so exciting to see everyone! We had a blast! All of the girls look healthy and oh so happy! It is hard to believe that these are the same infants we brought home in March of 2005. Enjoy the pics and thanks to Jenny K for planning all of our festivities! Everything was perfect! We can hardly wait until next year!
* Just wanted to share my very cool pics from the weekend. The fog was coming across the bay and it was eerily cool. And yes, the kids were swimming in Lake Michigan (in their undies, too)! It was beautiful on the beach, but the water temp was a bit cool.
